Sumptuous chunky yarn. Banana silk is similar to some of the recycled silk products
you might have seen. Made from banana leaves, banana silk is somewhat thicker than recycled silks, but with similar twist
and variation in thickness. It has a softer hand and drape. The colors are brilliant and clear.
Can be used in a weaving warp
sett at 5-8epi, but for best results, use in the weft instead. Terrific with Tencel, Perle Cotton, or Bamboo wefts. Crochet
with a J hook for a very tight cloth, or an S hook for a loose, casual scarf.
